Hi dancing love bugs,
The time has come once Again to begin our year of dance walking around london. We're going to start off slowly holding them once a month till May when we kick it into gear!
We are super blessed have been invited to be the subject of a short documentary, that Tenniel Benjamin is making for her class at school. She is looking for at least 4 people who would like to be interviewed. If you're interested please send her an email at [masked] she will be really happy to hear from you.
We're also meeting a bit early, 5:30pm, so we can write some love letters to Celebrate Global Love Letters 2nd Birthday:
We will disperse the letters while we are out dance walking starting at 6:30pm.
SO we're starting 2014 off with lots to do and in great Style!!
What is Dance Walking?
Dance Walking is an art of self expression where we let our soul and body move us freely to music whilst dancing and walking through beautiful parts of London. It's about being courageous, stepping into your light, freeing yourself and by doing so inspiring others to shine and express themselves freely as well.
Why Dance Walking?
We have started Dance Walking in summer 2012 after seeing this video from Ben Aaron who found a guy dance walking on the pedestrian walk in NY. When we saw this video, we too got inspired and wanted to take dance walking to the next level by getting groups together and dance walk through London listening to the same music. The idea behind Dance Walking is about letting go of fear, self judgment and inhibitions, having fun and spreading the love...and did we mention it's so much FUN!
We found dance walking to be beneficial if you are:
looking for a way to overcome your fears and inhibitions through dance
like to feel more comfortable in public
just looking for a way to express more joy in your life
love meeting new people
love exploring London
love spreading Love
love to discover yourself from new

How does it all work?
Step 1: "RSVP & Payment"
RSVP at the top to say you're coming to the event and either pay the £5 for the event online via Paypal/Debit/Credit Card or pay cash before or after the event. Please go to Avi Esther to make your payment. If you change your mind and can't come, please cancel your attendance so we don't wait for you on the day as this delays the start of our event.
Step 2: "Download the Playlist before the event"
Everyone attending is listening and dancing to the same playlist during the dance walk event, therefore it's important you download the playlist onto your MP3 player or I-Pod/Phone before the event. We publish the playlist the weekend prior to the event and you can download it from:
If you have problems downloading the playlist, comment in the notification field underneath the event and you will be helped.
Step 3: "Getting ready"
It's time to get ready. Make sure you have your MP3 player or I-Pod/Phone with you and the playlist downloaded. Make sure to wear comfy clothes and shoes and bring a small bag with you. The smaller your bag the freer you are dance walking. Bring a bottle of water to keep you hydrated. Please note that there is no set route for our event so we don't always know where we end up to on our route and usually don't finish where we started off. We usually do finish near a tube stop ;-). Step 4: "Check out videos and pictures of the event"
We always capture the beauty of our dance walkers during the event via pictures and videos which we'll publish after the event on our Facebook page. Click here to be the first to see them. Give it 2 days after the event for you to see them. It's a cool way to share with your friends on what you've been up to and who knows...they might want to join you too next time.
