|Join us at our Oktoberfest Celebration in a beautiful outdoor setting in the Oakland Hills with home-made German food, beer, music and dancing at Nature Friends Tourist Club (Oakland Branch). There will be live traditional Bavarian dancing and music by The Bajuk Trio Band, as well as German folk dance performances by Nature Friends Schuhplattler Dance Group.|

C O S T: Admission Fee is $10 per adult (kids under 14 get in free) and food and beverages can be purchased separately (cash only please). You can purchase tickets onsite for food and beverages. Please note that the closest ATM is 2 miles away.
S C H E D U L E: Home-made food cooked on site will be available for purchase from 1:00 to 6:00. The outdoor bar will serve beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages. The Bajuk Trio Band plays from 2:00 to 6:00.
M E N U: Schweinebraten (Roast Pork served with red cabbage, spatzle and bread), Leberkaese (Veal Loaf served with spatzle, red cabbage or sauerkraut, and bread), Bradwurst or Polish Sausage plate (served with potato salad, sauerkraut and bread), sausage sandwich, hot dog. There will also be an assortment of desserts.
D I R E C T I O N S: From Highway 13 in Oakland, take the Joaquin Miller exit and go up the hill for about 0.3 mile, then turn right on Butters Drive and go 0.5 mile to ���Nature Friends Tourist Club���.
P A R K I N G: Limited free onsite parking is available for approximately the first 80 vehicles. After the lot fills up, you can park on adjacent streets or along Joaquin Miller Blvd. Please park legally only where permitted; do not block any driveways and do not park at the Fire Station as that can dispatch Oakland police officers.
S H U T T L E: We are NOT offering shuttles for transportation at this event.
W A L K I N G: If you wish to park on Joaquin Miller and walk to the club, please be careful with the oncoming traffic as Butters Dr. becomes very narrow and there is no pedestrian or shoulder lane to the side. It could take 20 minutes (downhill) to walk to the club and 25 minutes to return (uphill) from the club to Joaquin Miller Blvd.
