What we’re about
DOCMA is Chapter 3039 of USA Dance, Inc. Our mission is to promote and support ballroom dancing. We hold 6-8 dances throughout the year. Our dance venues include Maironis Park in Shrewsbury, Lake Pearl Luciano's in Wrentham and Mechanics Hall in Worcester.
Through our Outreach function, we offer dance studios the option of participating in our STUDIO SPOTLIGHT SERIES, we entertain or sponsor dances at colleges, universities, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, as well as other community events. We are always looking for people to participate in our outreach efforts and/ or suggest places that would welcome our entertainment. There is never a cost!
We welcome all who are interested in ballroom dancing, singles and couples alike. We also welcome volunteers who would like to assist us by joining our board, helping with the dances and/or dancing in our outreach program. Although you don't have to be a member of DOCMA to join this meetup, we urge you to join DOCMA. Membership starts at $35 per year per person and entitles you to discounted admission to all of our dances.
