RSVP's to meetups are required for planning purposes and although it’s understood that sometimes last minute cancellations are inevitable and will happen, please be considerate to your organizer and other members to give as much notice as possible if you need to change your RSVP. Don't forget that space at meetings is limited and if you have indicated that you will attend then you are stopping someone else from coming who really wants to. If you are able to change your RSVP with plenty of notice, then others will be able to take your space.
If you RSVP for an event and don't show up, your attendance record will reflect this. Sometimes a no show is understandable, although generally it's considered bad form. Two no shows without any reasonable excuse and you will be removed from our Group. This is to simply ensure that the group continues to grow with active and enthusiastic membership and this benefits everyone.
