Today's DT Banner - ancient tracks

Hello primates!

Today's banner on our DT website is a photo taken by Chris Krato of a track fossil.  The fossil was found on our recent Darwin Day Fossil Hunt.  Approximately 308 million years ago a small amphibian walked on a mud flat in present day north-central Alabama and made foot prints in the mud.  Its track was later buried and eventually turned to stone, giving us the fossil seen above.

This banner is one of the most appropriate for DT, I think, but I still like the sexy, provocative ones too.  By the way, I'll miss DT tonight.  I'll be at Opening Day for the Barons in the new ballpark.  If any of you plan to be there, let me know.  Otherwise, I hope you have a good time at DT Discussions tonight.

Cheers!
