Good to see the level of interest and how each company / segment is coming at it from a different perspective. We all want to take innovative approach to solve business and customer problems. Questions remains for me is (a) do we collect more data which on its own is a costly exercise, or would there be a learning where data itself becomes a master and tells us what more data to collect and then of course it is the analysis, visualisation and inferences to be made helping us to take decisions which are right for that moment.
It is good to hav eth eforum to discuss and share views and best practices.

Has been very informative but quite a bit of confusion over what big data means, the problems IT causes and what big data attempts to achieve. The fundamental reason as to why any organisation fails to respond to challenges is cultural and not technological.
