Fellow data science enthusiasts,
Over the past year or so we have grown far past any expectations I could have had and Raj and I are truly humbled but really excited for the events we have planned for the next few months especially our next event on Thursday August 29th at GTRI Conference Center with Roy Marsten, Chief Scientist at Emcien. If you haven't RSVP'd yet please get registered today. I want that place to be filled to capacity (220!) to show the strength of our community!
Raj and I have been thinking hard about other ways that our group of 761 and growing professionals, students, and enthusiasts can help each other be successful in the field of data science and beyond and to give back to our community beyond our membership.
We want to harness the collective brilliance from this esteemed group and focus it on a project that will benefit our community in a way that no other group can help.
Hack for CF is unique and a first of it’s kind event for Cystic Fibrosis. During Hack for CF hackathon participants will work on real CF issues for CF with subject matter experts and stakeholders working with data scientists, designers and technologists.
When & Where:
Saturday, Oct. 5th at 9:00 a.m. - Sunday, Oct. 6th at 3:00 p.m.
Georgia Tech : Clough Undergraduate Learning Center

Register today at http://hackforcf.com... if you want to be a part of this very special event! Also, be sure to RSVP on our meetup events page if you plan to attend.

I want our group to think big and for our participation in the hackathon to be overwhelming!
Please send Andy Gardner a short note at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to help coordinate, volunteer, or sponsor Hack for CF in any way.
