I have on-the-job learning experience, preprocessing and analyzing magnetic resonance imaging data using independent component analysis, regression, and group statistics. No experience, yet, in data mining and predictive analytics, but I will be learning those techniques and their application in my Masters program, which I begin this Fall.
R (JGR, linear regression, ezanova, python (limited) MR imaging analysis specific software, including FSL, SPM, AFNI.
Exposure to statistics and software that is not specifically aimed at MR image analysis, so that I can bring novel (to MRI) approaches to the lab. Understand the problems or limitations of different analytic approaches.
I am a neuroscientist by trade, and am in the process of changing career to become more of a data analyst / data visualization person.
