What is your level of experience with Statistics, Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning and/or Data Mining?

College courses in probability, statistics, time series analysis. Computational computing techniques in python, MATLAB. Nothing too sophisticated in ML, though, but I am currently self studying more mathematical foundations of statistical inference.

What tools and technologies do you use?

Python (personal), SAS (work)

What do you hope to get out of this group?

Friendships with other quantitative and curious people, exposure to what techniques people are using to answer different questions, exposure to what methods people use to "clean up" data.

I'm a recent college grad and new to the area, and I'm interested in meeting other people interested in quantitative analytics.
