  • Hi there David, I was a member of your PHP group and unfortunately worked so much I never had the opportunity to come to a meeting. This year I have a very liberal schedule and I just subscribed to your python group and look forward to hopefully meeting you all and helping out in anyway I can.

  • Hi David, I'm brand new to PHP, will this be an issue?

  • David, thanks again, for joining. You may compile some .py on my rpi on Saturday! until then do the emulator shuffle! We'll be doing lots of shell stuff to show people how to set up.
In the mean time, here is an article from last september that might be interesting:

Also, I plan on making some serious instructional videos on the pi by years end. We should discuss you doing some python modules for that...

  • David are you at the startup weekend? I don't see you!

  • Have you seen http://www.pythonsecurity.org/ ? We can certainly discuss anything you'd like but as a sysadmin in a previous life my code examples are usually pretty horrific. :) Currently my biggest beef with web apps in general are the architectural design implementations that lead to cross site request forgery issues. I find few people are addressing CSRF in their apps, almost everything on the internet is vulnerable, it's hard to fix and it's a difficult topic to explain to folks. PAINFUL!

  • Dave, thanks for stepping aside from the group and speaking with me about my idea. I've looked at Balsamiq and see that it really can be used to illustrate my idea and seems extremely user friendly. Thanks again for your selflessness.
