Introduction

PhD economist doing child and family welfare policy research.

Are you a data provider who wants to work with data analysts to gain more insights into your data?

Not data, but I do have analysis projects that could use partners.

Are you a data analyst looking to volunteer your skills for a good cause?

Yup!

What will you bring to the potluck?

Software familiarity: STATA, SAS, VBA, some R, some ArcGIS. Analytical capacity: PhD-level econometric and statistical familiarity for analyzing individual-level data. Policy familiarity: public education; early childhood education and childcare; and city and state social support policy. Institutional connections: knowledge of city stakeholders in education and child/family welfare, and connected to a network of academic and policy researchers.

In the spirit of sharing, do you have a method, software or application that you are super excited about learning, showing or teaching other members about?
