You may have heard of Ignite. It’s a presentation style pioneered in the US by Brady Forrest from O’Reilly publishing, when he wanted to spice up some presentations – and it quickly became a worldwide phenomenon.
There are now Ignite events in hundreds of cities across the world, including IgniteSydney.
The idea is simple – allow the presenters to speak on any topic, using only 20 slides, each of which changes automatically after 15 seconds, giving a guaranteed 5 minute presentation.
IgniteSydney started in 2008, and has been growing bigger and better with every event. We’ve now decided to branch out and hold an event focussed on marketing, brand management, advertising and PR in a new spin-off event, IgniteSydney [Marketing].
If you’re sick of Death By Powerpoint, then come along to IgniteSydney [Marketing], where you’re guaranteed a fun night of entertaining and educational presentations about the future of marketing.
