Pawtukaway Paddle

Join us for Friends, Fun and Food as we paddle Pawtuckaway Lake. This will be a leisurely paddle with plenty of time for socializing and picture taking. We will find a spot to stop for lunch.

Bring your camera, sun block, proper paddling gear including properly fitting PFD, plenty of water and a lunch or light snacks.

NOTE: There will be a lot of boat traffic on this holiday weekend. You must wear your PFD. ..We may also be doing some rescue practice for those of you who still haven't tried. It's a good thing to learn and could save your life one day.

Please be prepared to paddle as we might do the whole lake.

We will use the boat launch in the State Park so there will be a $5.00 fee to enter.

If anyone wants to grab a bit to eat after the paddle there are a couple or good places right in Raymond.

It was a beautiful day for being out on the lake. The wind gave me a good challenge. It felt good to be outside and enjoying the nice weather. Hope to do it again before the end of summer

Hi, This will be my first event. I have a kayak but unable to bring it tomorrow. As I understand, the park rents kayaks for $10/hr or I should call Mountain Rd. Trading post to reserve or rent one? Also the park charges $5 to enter? I just wanted to be sure I have all the information correct.

4 hrs is fine. Just thought if more than that it would be worth daily rental price. Thank you for responding.

try calling the office, they have them for $10/ hr or you can call Mountain rd Trading post 895-3501. they also offer them but you have to bring on your car..they probably offer the foam pads for that. you will need a PDF and wear it and paddle.
