Ever since we started Dave’s Fine Wine Meet-up Group, we have had numerous requests to schedule a meet-up on a week-end. Also, we have often been asked to schedule a meet-up in Central New Jersey. Well, we heard you and we're trying something a little different for a meet-up in late-April, the weekend after Easter: A new venue and a fun Sunday family style Italian dinner at Girasole in Bound Brook, NJ with our friend Richard Morehouse from Pedroncelli Winery. This is a fantastic opportunity at an outrageous price: 7 courses & 7 wines for $70! Why? Because our host Richard Morehouse loves to show as many wines produced by his family owned winery as possible! Richard is Co-Owner/VP of Pedroncelli & stepson to John Pedroncelli. For over 85 years, Pedroncelli has been family-owned in the Dry Creek (Sonoma). John Pedroncelli Sr. purchased the property in 1927 and it has been run by family members ever since. Today, the Pedroncelli Winery remains one of less than a handful of commercially viable family-owned vineyards & wineries in Dry Creek Valley! Richard is a very interesting, humorous & engaging speaker as well as an expert on the wine & history of Sonoma County. This promises to be a fun time & with the early start, we won't keep you out too late on a Sunday. If you've never dined at Girasole, before, this event is a must!
