Nick Goldschmidt Winemaker Dinner @ Smoke Rise Village Inn Kinnelon, NJ - May 8

Winemaker, bon vivant & kiwi sheep lover Nick Goldschmidt will be in NJ for what is sure to be an exciting & entertaining wine dinner at Smoke Rise Village Inn Restaurant in Kinnelon, NJ. Nick is a rock star winemaker. As former Vice President & Chief Winemaker at Simi, Nick launched the Simi Reserve program. Today, he consults at various wineries all over the world while also making his own wines in Marlborough, NZ & Napa, CA.

Bring an appetite and, as Nick would say, your “drinking shoes,” as this is sure to be a memorable night! We love wine dinners, but Nick is a particularity enjoyable speaker, as his experience is vast & as a consultant both far & wide, his knowledge of the industry is extensive. While Smoke Rise is a private club, the Village Inn restaurant is open to the public. One little wine dinner secret... most private clubs allow the public to attend their wine dinners. Since they are serving members, and hoping to attract new ones, these dinners are usually amazing in terms of quality & value for your dollar. Our club member Seth Proper has been lucky enough to meet with the Restaurant’s Chef & General Manager to preview this meal and he is moved to say it will be fantastic! On top of an extraordinary reception & meal, the main course will feature Nick’s 96 Pt. rated 2007 Goldschmidt Plus Oakville Game Ranch Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon! Only 97cs were produced!

Cost is $70 which includes both tax & tip The dinner alone is worth the price, but WITH wine, it’s an absolute steal!

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED! This event will sell out. Don’t miss it!

The dinner at the Smoke Rise Inn was top notch. It was only surpassed by the wines and Nick Goldschmidt. He is an amazing speaker and his wines blew me away. Thanks Dave! Another outstanding event.

Thx to all who attended! I know it was a treat since Nick always over-delivers as a presenter just as his wines over-deliver in quality! Stay tuned for a BYOB in early June and a BYOB garden party in July!

Called the correct number ( see below - thanks Greg) and they need payment for only a few slots left- no one from our group i know has done that yet, so I decided to wait. Dave is definitely "the life of the party" - ha ha! But wanted to see more people from the group and maybe carpool. Hope to hear that others might be interested in a few days- if not- maybe next time!!!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
