Shannon and I have been posting our camping trips at the Sacramento Trail Mix meetup site. We have several trips scheduled and would love it if you would consider joining us on one or more of them.

If you have time and are already a member of this group please remove yourself from our membership here. It is our intention to close the group. If you would like to be the organizer and keep it going we would consider any offer made to keep it alive for those members who are interested in a camping group.

I noticed that there were 124 people waiting for someone to start a camping group in the Davis area, so I figured I'd start it up. We camp all over Northern California (and beyond, if you want!) so please don't think that this group is only for people who live in Davis and/or who want to camp in Davis! Only about 10% of our members live in Davis, and there's not much (any?) camping in Davis.

Let's go camping! Car camping, backpacking, camping near, camping far, bicycle touring, motorcycle camping, boating and camping, fishing and camping, canoe camping, gourmet camping, survivalist camping, summer camping, winter camping, desert camping, beach camping, wine-tasting camping (I just made that one up), ... hell, let's pitch a tent in the back yard!

If you like sleeping under the stars, sharing stories by the campfire, and doing whatever makes you happy during the day, then this is the group for you.
