Farmington Creek Trail to sunset campground

Length 3.2 miles  Moderate difficulty.  Time:  2 hours round trip

We might do a variation on the return trip if we find the Old Aquaduct trail.

Directions to get to Farmington Trail parking area:

Go East on Park Ln. from highway 89 (Exit for Lagoon) . Head East from the ramp and stay in the inside lane until the light on main street. Make a right on Main Street. Continue following it around as it jog's right and then due east. The main road turns right but continue straight ahead on 600N to the top. Turn left at the top of 600 north.  This is the road which goes up Farmington Canyon.  Bear right when you see the sign for the Farmington Pond (do not turn down to that parking lot).  Keep going on the road for about 1.4 miles until a 90 degree turn and the road turns to dirt.  Park here at the parking lot on the right.

If you're driving on a dirt road you've gone too far; if you are on pavement you haven't driven far enough.  The parking lot is right at the junction.  There is no trailhead parking sign.
