December Indoor Meetup

Come try out a new indoor park location - Sit Stay N' Play Dog Park in Huber Heights!

I checked out this place last month, and while the strip mall it's in is nothing to brag about, the facility is clean, nice and HUGE! It will be great for indoor play time when it gets really cold outside! Alison Rice, the co-owner, was super friendly and very welcoming to me. They're looking forward to hosting our group over the next few months.

Please read more about the park, including their RULES and VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS here: http://sitstaynplaydogpark.com/ prior to RSVPing to this event. If you have any questions, please give them a call at (937)[masked] or email me and I'll ask whatever you need. They're also on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/sitstaynplay, but the Facebook page has less info than their regular site.

Also, please be aware that although DDU is not charging for this event, Sit Stay N' Play does charge a fee for use of their dog park. They have offered DDU members a "perk" for one free dog park visit (one visit for one dog), so be sure to mention this at check in if it is your first time there.

Looking forward to seeing many of you at this great new resource!

I think Paige is due for shots, they didn't update her when she was having all her toe issues because she was already having fever and infection issues. And I have no idea where gizmos records are from the rescue. :(. Between the house begin updated and getting ready for baby I'm lucky to find my self... Lol

Sit, Stay, N' Play is having their first annual Ugly Sweater Christmas Party (for both owners and pets) this coming Saturday, December 8th, from 1-5. Santa Paws will be there for pictures. We ask you bring your own camera for the picture; however, there will be one available if you forget and we can upload the picture to facebook. Snacks will be provided.

I would love to go to the indoor meetup in December unfortunately I have a xmas party at the same time in another part of town. Perhaps we could do it more than once in December and Calli and I can make the next one.

Hopefully we'll have another one of these soon after the first. I spend the holidays mostly out of town, but maybe one of our assistant organizers will have some free time. If not, we'll definitely do another one in January!

Heather, I'm looking at hosting another one at least in December but need to look at dates/the calendar. Also looking at possibly doing a week night event so no worries there will be other opportunities ahead!

Does anyone know if they accept titers in lieu of vaccination records?

    November 20, 2012

They do. I asked that very question myself when I visited since we don't do the DHLPP regularly. Just bring records with you - a short letter from your vet explaining the tigers should be sufficient.

*titers*, not tigers! My iPad hates me :)
