January Indoor Meetup

Come try out or re-visit a new indoor park - Sit Stay N' Play Dog Park in Huber Heights!

We had an event here last month and while it's located in an older strip mall that could otherwise be missed, the facility is clean, nice and HUGE! It's a great place to help fight cabin fever through these colder, snowy months.

Please read more about the park, including their RULES and VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS here: http://sitstaynplaydogpark.com/ prior to RSVPing to this event. If you have any questions, please give them a call at (937)[masked] or email me and I'll ask whatever you need.

Also, please be aware that although DDU is not charging for this event, Sit Stay N' Play does charge a fee for use of their dog park. They have offered DDU members a "perk" for one free dog park visit (one visit for one dog), so be sure to mention this at check in if it is your first time there.

Looking forward to seeing many of you!

Thanks,

Kim and Cody

I enjoyed it and everyone, the four legged kid's were so cute and funny! Skyler was like a kindergartener on their first day, hiding behind mom and climbing up my leg!

I wonder if we could do this on a Sunday. I volunteer at the car ministries to fix up donated cars.

Unfortunately the facility is closed on Sundays. I have thought about trying to have one during a week night if that would work for you at all?

Yes, they are open to 7:00PM at night!

Great to see so many people join us today! Cody had a blast playing and making new friends, so much fun that it only took him a few minutes before he was sounds asleep in the car!

As mentioned above and in my comment below, there is a vaccination requirement as with all dog parks. They just need to see that shots are up to date. I know my vet gives a semi-detailed receipt showing the charges (wellness exam, lepto shot, rabies, etc) and bringing in the one from his last visit was sufficient. If you've been there before then they will have yours on file already and are good to go! Also, if you want to save a few minutes you can also go to their website and click on the tab for "sign me up" and fill out the client information form and the liability form. Otherwise they'll give you copies once you arrive. They just say to fill it out the best you can so if it's not entirely complete that is fine. See you all there!

I don't have Alfie's records so I will not be attending after all.

I contacted Sit Stay N Play and they basically said if it's your first time at their facility to bring a copy of your dog's vaccination records with you. I'm glad I checked I had to have my vet fax an updated copy to me. Can't wait to see everyone!!!

My dogs have current rabies tags. I didn't know we would need shot records. It is Friday night and that will be hard to get before Monday.

Do you want to see copies of shot records?

If you can either make a copy or bring a copy to the event they will ask to see them as an overall policy for safety of all dogs that come to the facility. It doesn't have to be all shots just that they're up to date.
