15 hikers attended this hike on a questionable weather day. It had rained in the morning and a front was moving in that promised much colder, below freezing weather. But surprisingly, the rain held off and the temperature remained moderate throughout the hike. The hikers went on a new route, exploring the new bicycle trail from Eastwood MetroPark toward Huffman MetroPark. After turning around near the Air Force Museum, and reeentering Eastwood MetroPark, the hikers proceeded on the edge of the Mad River back to the starting point at the parking lot. Hike distance was 5 miles along flat trails. The hikers were a cordial group who seemed to really enjoy this last hike of the year 2013.

Great introduction to the group--thank you all. The mud at the end made it worthwhile.

If it is a hike set up by Ken, it is normally a 5 star hike. Today was no different. It was nice to see the new pathway on the north side of the park. Also, thanks to John I. for leading us today.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
