Time for another hike with Mtn Laurel. This will be a moderate paced hike with backpacks. We will cover a little over 4 miles at a moderate pace of 2.5 to 3 mph. Please wear your hiking boots and bring your hiking sticks. The trail has many ups and downs so it makes for a good workout. We will be hiking the orange and yellow trails which you can see on the map on the link below.

Description of the park:
Taylorsville MetroPark contains exceptional examples of mature upland forest with many spring wildflowers, second growth woodlands, natural succession areas, a few aging pine stands, a few managed grasslands, and extensive floodplain forests along the Great Miami River Corridor.
This was a fun hike slipping and sliding in the mud! Scenery was beautiful and great conversation with other fellow hikers. Thank-you Laurel another Great Hike!

I need to be back at my car at 6:15pm. But it sounds like we will based on the miles and the pace. It is a little tougher hiking in this snow.
