MVOC Leisurely Hike at Wegerzyn MetroPark

Join Lindy McDonough and the Miami Valley Outdoor Club for this leisurely paced, 1.5 hour hike. About 3.3 miles. There are more trails and woods to explore at this park than most people realize. Mostly flat terrain.
Good hike for beginners, retirees or anyone wanting to enjoy the great outdoors.
Come see the "Little Trail in the Woods" where MVOCers, Dayton Hikers and others cleared out over 450 old tires last year.
Dogs are welcome, but must be on leash.

Beautiful day for a hike! I was amazed to see the area that was formerly littered with old tires transformed due to the efforts of the Miami Valley Outdoor club. Great Job!

A beautiful day for a hike and we all managed to stay fairly close together. 5 hikers had never been on the trail we took and 4 had never been to Wegerzyn. Very good company, lots of joking and goofing off.
