Englewood MetroPark Hike-Brisk Pace

5 miles, 2 ½ hours. Use entrance at 4361 US40 (east end of dam). Meet at Patty Shelter parking lot.

11 hikers came out for this hike. The day was cold and cloudy. Temperature was in the twenties when we started and there was an uncomfortably cold breeze which made it worse. However, once we got out on the trails, everyone warmed up and was comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful park, especially the 3 wonderful waterfalls. Hike distance was approximately 5 miles with few hills to climb. There was a little mud on the trails, but nothing terrible. Hikers enjoyed good conversations while hiking.
