This is a "Get Out And Go" hike!
Join members for a Tuesday hike at Taylorsville MetroPark. This will continue to be a fast-paced hike. The hike is through hilly wooded terrain and along the Great Miami River. The Hike begins promptly at 4:30pm. We will be completing the orange/ yellow loops and the black connector trails. There are hills and a pace around 4 miles an hour ... This is a fast paced hike. Meet at the parking lot near the CCC shelter off Route 40. This is a conditioning hike.
About Taylorsville MetroPark: Taylorsville MetroPark contains exceptional examples of mature upland forest with many spring wildflowers, second growth woodlands, natural succession areas, a few aging pine stands, a few managed grasslands, and extensive floodplain forests along the Great Miami River Corridor.
Dave Snell led us on a steady and fast pace hike. The trail was dry and in good shape. Finshed the hike with a sprint up the last hill and back to the CCC shelter. Great fun!
