Caesar Creek 12 Mile Hike

Enjoy a sunny day and burn a few calories before Thanksgiving. This is a moderate to brisk pace 12+ mile loop hike at Caesar Creek State Park. This hike will last 4-5 hours. This trip has a limit of 12 people. Please respect the limit.

The hike will start promptly at 11:00am at the Fifty Springs parking lot trail head. We will hike on SR-73 across the lake first, following the yellow and blue blazes (Buckeye Trail). We will take a couple of short cuts to make this a 12+ mile hike instead of the regular 14 mile loop. Do not use the above address for your car GPS. It will likely guide you to a place other than Fifty Springs.
Bring food and drinking water. Trekking poles are highly recommended.

What a fantastic day for a hike! Sunny skies and great company. It was great hiking with everyone. We had a great crew today from Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton and all points in-between. I am really thirsty for some Kenya coffee now!

Hi Eunice, 9:30am ok? Google maps says it is 1 hour and 23 minutes. I can drive if it is just you and I. No problem. I have directions printed out ... bring whatever directions you have. I have been to Caesars Creek before. I am feeling so much better .... glad I stayed home, but, bummed I missed a great hike, you know?

Hi Eunice, my hope is to feel better and go on this hike. I will make a final decision this evening. I stayed home today to rest and am dying to hike! If I decide I am well enough to go, I would like to carpool. Tuttle Mall area ok?
