Do you enjoy backpacking or day hiking or both?

I have hiked the Appalacian trail for a week at a time and now I hike with friends closer to home here in Englewood, Ohio.

What do you enjoy most about backpacking or day hiking?

The friendships, laughter and connections.

Where are your favorite areas for hiking in the Dayton area?

Englewood Reserve, Taylorsville Reserve, Sycamore St. Park, Trotwood etc.

Where are your favorite areas for backpacking or hiking outside of the Dayton area?

Appalacian Trail!
