I like mountains, on and off the road. Hiking and backpacking is a learning experience.
Do you enjoy backpacking or day hiking or both?
I enjoy both. Backpacking is a whole new world and its still growing on me. The more I've done it the better it gets.
What do you enjoy most about backpacking or day hiking?
The camaraderie of the group while enjoying the trail, and the feeling of accomplishment after a strenuous hike.
Where are your favorite areas for hiking in the Dayton area?
Taylorsville is close. Glen Helen and John Bryan. Also Germantown and Twin Creek.
Where are your favorite areas for backpacking or hiking outside of the Dayton area?
The Appalachian trail in the southern states. Also the Rockies just outside of Aspen. (So far).
