I am into backpacking and hiking and simply looking for others in the area who enjoy the same.
Both. I day hike whenever I can, however, enjoy a nice backpacking challenge. Often you will see me carrying a 40 lb pack on my day hikes, just to stay in shape!
Being outdoors, away from everything. I am getting into backpacking with my son a lot more. He is really enjoying being outside, and I am enjoying the time with him.
Twin Creek, Germantown and Sugarcreek MetroParks, Glen Helen and John Bryan also.
Smoky Mountains, TN/NC, Western NC, Appalachian Trail, Red River Gorge, Hocking Hills
Found them online
"I am also fairly new into GeoCaching, BuffaloCacher, and enjoy this activity with my son, Collin."
Dayton Hikers is a great bunch of folks. I have not met anyone I do not like, and everyone seems to want to go out of their way to help everyone else out. A great bunch of hikers here!

We could only reserve the shelter for the 7th @ H&D, but we'd be happy to meet you & your family for same thing the following Sunday evening, just absent the larger group(so no need for res.). Just let Susan know tomorrow if you all have any interest for the 14th for just a small group for that same dinner/hike- I have truly enjoyed hiking w/you this winter. Bob
Hi John, Thanks again for taking the initiative today, & for the potential collaboration w/ our childrens programs & the hiking marathon. Your profile picture is the one that lead me to think of your sons potential for inspiring some of my young people. See you soon to share a few good thoughts & plans. Bob
Thanks John for the camera information. I liked your pictures and the panoramic shots. Would be nice to take those kind of shots at the Grand Canyon! Happy hiking, Sandy
