I love to hike, but it seems like I've been doing other things instead lately.
Do you enjoy backpacking or day hiking or both?
I haven't backpacked yet, but it's on my "list" of things I've wanted to try.
What do you enjoy most about backpacking or day hiking?
Being outside and experiencing either the solitude of nature or chatting with a friend while hiking.
Where are your favorite areas for hiking in the Dayton area?
Germantown and Twin Creek MetroParks
Where are your favorite areas for backpacking or hiking outside of the Dayton area?
Mt Airy Forest in Cinti, the lesser used trails in the Hocking area, Carter Caves area
