I love hiking and being outdoors.
Do you enjoy backpacking or day hiking or both?
Day hiking, although I admire backpackers and like to hear their stories!
What do you enjoy most about backpacking or day hiking?
Beautiful woods and views, flora and fauna, changing seasons, physical challenges, and the pleasant company of other hikers, who are some of the nicest people.
Where are your favorite areas for hiking in the Dayton area?
Germantown and Twin Creek Metroparks, Charleston Falls.
Where are your favorite areas for backpacking or hiking outside of the Dayton area?
I love the Hocking Hills area. Red River Gorge and Carter Caves, both in Kentucky, are different than anything I've seen in Ohio, and absolutely gorgeous.

Hi, Cindy! Join us tomorrow afternoon (or any Saturday) at the Boston Stoker, Far Hills Ave. (in the Washington Square Shopping Ctr on the opposite end from Dorothy Lane Mkt.) You can enjoy knitting and coffee and be guaranteed a lot of friendly faces-- ignore the number who sign in here; there are always 10-12 yarn folk there. If you need any advice with your projects, there's always someone who can help. Looking forward to meeting you.
