Introduction
Hi. I love the outdoors and get in it as much as possible. Now that my children are grown, my life to a good change, and my job not too demanding, I hope to become more involved with MVOC and now Dayton Hikers.
Do you enjoy backpacking or day hiking or both?
Both. But have not backpacked since the late 80s....is that telling my age !!?? LOL
What do you enjoy most about backpacking or day hiking?
Backpacking the beauty of the surroundings. Day hiking...getting outdoors.
Where are your favorite areas for hiking in the Dayton area?
Very new to hiking in Dayton that is why I joined, wanting to learn about the Dayton/Miami Valley hiking areas.
Where are your favorite areas for backpacking or hiking outside of the Dayton area?
Hocking Hills, Hoover Dam and Alum Creek areas in Columbus, Smokey Mountains, my home state...Florida
