Introduction
I like to hike 3-5 miles at time. I have just gotten back into shape after a broken leg. Am not too fast, but love being out of doors. I like kayaking too.
Do you enjoy backpacking or day hiking or both?
Day hiking.
What do you enjoy most about backpacking or day hiking?
Birding, rocks, plants. Being out of doors.
Where are your favorite areas for hiking in the Dayton area?
Locally, I love Yellow Springs parks. Haven't been to many Dayton area parks in over 25 years. Looking forward to it.
Where are your favorite areas for backpacking or hiking outside of the Dayton area?
I have hiked in Glacier National Park, the Olympic Mountains, Yosemite, Yellowstone, Many state parks in CA, Joshua Tree, and am always looking for more places to hike
