I delight in ambitious hikes to see what's around the corner to admire and appreciate. Love to camp, swim, cook over an open fire & enjoy good company in all adventures. A while back I learned the value of slowing down instead of speeding up.
Very much enjoy day hiking & excited by each new prospect of hiking over an unfamiliar mountain.
Checking out the beauty around the next corner & sharing the experience w/an equally appreciative companion
Hills & Dales and Sugar Creek Metro Parks - both close by & offering great beauty in very different ways
Wherever I can hike to see see the next pretty moon from, or cascading water, or freshly fallen snow, or a pretty view of a lake. Most recently looking overr the Shenandoah Valley in northern Virginia.

Hey bob, come to the talk on Friday night at St. Charles..... I would be happy to come down and present it, with my kids, at your place for your families to see what the potential is, and my son can actually answer some questions from the other kids.....I think it would be awesome!
Nice purple poncho -I know I have seen this before?
Hello Bob, welcome to the Cincinnati Backpackers. Hope you're able to join us on a hike. Some trips are geared towards newer hikers and some towards the more experienced. Hopefully one will work for you.
