Introduction

27 year old Web Developer located in Dayton, Ohio. While I have always enjoyed hiking - I have done relatively little in and around the Dayton area and would love to change that.

Do you enjoy backpacking or day hiking or both?

I enjoy both, but have little backpacking experience. I do, however, have a decent amount of backpacking equipment.

What do you enjoy most about backpacking or day hiking?

I love the scenery, isolation, and discovery.

Where are your favorite areas for hiking in the Dayton area?

My most popular hiking area is Ceasar Creek, but having not been to many areas its tough to have a favorite.

Where are your favorite areas for backpacking or hiking outside of the Dayton area?

Northern Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. I try to take a trip to that region at least every other year if possible.
