Hello. Who knew there were so many wonderful hiking groups and new (to me) parks? I'm loving it!
So far, I've only hiked. Perhaps given the right place, time, and people, I'll expand to Backpacking. The Buckeye Trail has always intrigued me.
The people and outdoors, of course!
Clifton Gorge, Caesar Creek, and my standby Grant Park for ease and comfort.

Friendly and comfortable.
Hey Carol, I've been raising Buckeyes since 2002 here in SW Ohio (Miamisburg) and re-established the American Buckeye Club back in 2009. We have a sizeable following on Facebook and you are welcome to come take a look if you like;
Crains Run Ranch
Hood, hope to see you there -- the man who started this group in is Miamisburg -- a visit to Nick's coop would be really informative. Isn't it nice how I just invited you to somebody else's house. ;-D
We meet at the Village Family Restaurant the second Wednesday of every month at 7. We've had speakers on nutrition, bio-security and beekeeping (most of us who keep chickens are interested in other areas of basic food sources -- hence bees.) Helping out with someone is a good idea -- what part of the area are you in, I might be able to direct you to someone. I have three hens and 8 babies in my little urban backyard. Have you been to BackyardChickens.com -- it's addictive and informative.
Carol, I'm Lindy McDonough from the Miami Valley Outdoor Club. I met and had lunch with you at the North Country Trail conference. I thought you said you sent in membership money for the Outdoor Club, but I never received it. Could you have sent it to the Outdoor Adventure Club by mistake? You can find our membersip forms and mailing address at www.mvoc.net. Hope to here from you. Heard you went tubing. How was it?
