Introduction
Hello. Who knew there were so many wonderful hiking groups and new (to me) parks? I'm loving it!
Do you enjoy backpacking or day hiking or both?
So far, I've only hiked. Perhaps given the right place, time, and people, I'll expand to Backpacking. The Buckeye Trail has always intrigued me.
What do you enjoy most about backpacking or day hiking?
The people and outdoors, of course!
Where are your favorite areas for hiking in the Dayton area?
Clifton Gorge, Caesar Creek, and my standby Grant Park for ease and comfort.
Where are your favorite areas for backpacking or hiking outside of the Dayton area?
Hocking Hills.

We meet at the Village Family Restaurant the second Wednesday of every month at 7. We've had speakers on nutrition, bio-security and beekeeping (most of us who keep chickens are interested in other areas of basic food sources -- hence bees.) Helping out with someone is a good idea -- what part of the area are you in, I might be able to direct you to someone. I have three hens and 8 babies in my little urban backyard.
