I live in Fairborn. Own and operate a Bed & Breakfast. Walking/hiking is one of my favorite activities, so I was interested in your events.

Day hiking.
What do you enjoy most about backpacking or day hiking?
Being outside, looking at the world, learning about habitat, getting exercise
Where are your favorite areas for hiking in the Dayton area?
The MetroParks -- I'm most familiar with Carrige Hill.
Where are your favorite areas for backpacking or hiking outside of the Dayton area?
I'm retired Air Force and have lived/hiked in a lot of places -- there were some fabulous hikes in Utah, I think it was Bryce Canyon if I remember correctly.
