I recently retired because I would rather die on a hike than sitting at a desk. I am beyond OLD but still quirky and agile. Looking forward to fun and activity and fun.
Day hiking, at least in the colder months. Don't own a tent anymore but can still whittle my own tent pegs.
Physical exertion with other people as opposed to with my dog who doesn't talk much. And he tires before I do.
Any place outdoors and woodsy.
Rural New England -- nothing compares to it. Adirondacks, Poconos (not NE but Pennsylvania is close enough), Berkshires.

I meet wonderful new people with such varied interests on every hike and I love the activity. I'm just sorry I waited until I was OLD before finding this group. It's a great place to be before I need a walker :).

Kathie, do you want to carpool to the Taylorsville hike tomorrow? I can drive.

Hi Kathie, Good to see a familiar face signed up for option B. Pioneer Village should be fun. I have never been. Michelle
Kathy, Dawn, Laurel, and all the singles check out this amazing race event in Cincy tomorrow. I'm attending and think it sounds like a blast! The link is below.
