Introduction

I am an adventurous nature gal who loves everything about the outdoors. I have hiked many times through most of the Dayton MetroParks and a few of the local State Parks.

Do you enjoy backpacking or day hiking or both?

I enjoy day hiking. I have not yet gone backpacking, but would love to give it a try.

What do you enjoy most about backpacking or day hiking?

The stress relief of getting back to nature and away from the noise and busy-ness of civilization.

Where are your favorite areas for hiking in the Dayton area?

Clifton Gorge, John Bryan, Glen Helen, Charleston Falls, Englewood, Sugarcreek, Caesar Creek Gorge, Germantown and Twin Creek.

Where are your favorite areas for backpacking or hiking outside of the Dayton area?

Hocking Hills, Gatlinburg area
