Introduction
I live just outside of London Oh. on 11 acres of woods and some prairie so I get to hike everyday and study nature. I literally grew up on the OSU campus my father being an Entomologist and I eventually studied Geology & Mineralogy.
Do you enjoy backpacking or day hiking or both?
Mostly day hiking and car camping.
What do you enjoy most about backpacking or day hiking?
I always see something interested every time I am out in nature, learning or trying to 'till the I die.
Where are your favorite areas for hiking in the Dayton area?
Miami Valley system with all it's tributary's, Yellow Springs area, John Bryan, Clifton Gorge and more.
Where are your favorite areas for backpacking or hiking outside of the Dayton area?
Hocking Hills, although a bit crowded, Tar Hollow, Scioto Trail, Shawnee state forests, Clear Creek Metro Park
