How and why did data processing at large scale evolve it's way into map reduce and how is this useful as an addition to NoSQL databases in your data processing pipelines.
Francine Bennett of MastadonC. Fran will be talking about the carbon impact of cloud computing, giving an idea of the overall emissions generated, the factors which determine how many emissions your own work is creating, and the business and technical tradeoffs involved in reducing them.
