Data is growing in size and complexity. Increasing velocity, volume and variety of data are driving new database technologies and techniques of data analysis. NOSQL databases are becoming more popular and widely accepted. This is leading to a disruption in the database market and a fragmentation of database solutions.

At DeNormalised we want to bring together people who are interested in keeping up to date with the evolving landscape of data persistance and analysis. Our meetups will consist of a number of short talks on a range of topics including NOSQL, big data and data science.

The meetups are designed to give broad exposure and inspire. If you build, maintain or manage software that produces data, there's a good chance you'll get something out of this group.

Come along, learn and share.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
