Which NOSQL technologies are you using?

Primarily HBase, but have experience with Mongo, Cassandra and Voldemort

Do you have a background in data analysis?

Starting about 3.5 years ago I started using Hadoop and the ecosystem of tools around it to process large / complex datasets at British Sky Broadcasting. It was primarily ad-hoc analysis tasks, at the time the tools were quite limited so most of it was hand-written Map/Reduce tasks and some glue to chain them together.

What do you want to get out of a DeNormalised meetup?

Meeting like-minded people to bounce ideas around with and share experience.

Introduction

I'm CTO of an exciting new Big Data start-up in London called TUMRA. We're looking at new and interesting ways to bring Big Data and Machine Learning techniques into mainstream Enterprise companies.
