As a beginning signer, I was surprised at how many of those present were fluent in ASL...which was good on the one hand, lots more "accurate" signing going on, and a bit challenging because I had to do a lot more watching that talking. But I will come back again, I met some really terrific people! ”

“ i had a GREAT time. it was nice to get together and use my limited skills that i am trying to perfect with so many and all on different levels. i am so happy i found the group online. not sure how that happened, but pleased nevertheless. i am still traveling back and forth from New York to Raleigh as i am not retired. we built a house and i come to garden, decorate and fix it up so that when retirement comes in about 2 years i will have most of it done. whenever, i am in town, i will come. thank you for a great time and your warm welcomes. looking forward to seeing you again in the very near future. i will upload a photo as soon as i get a chance. have a great time next week at dinner. i will be in NY. take care. be well. shirley gist ”
