Introduction
I want to learn as much as possible about learning how to sign. I am completely new to this but extremely dedicated to learning how to communicate to the deaf and hard of hearing through ASL.
What was your educational experience?
I learned the ASL alphabet when I was 10...some 20+ years ago.
Are you Deaf, deaf, Hard of Hearing, or Hearing?
Technically no, but do find that without contacts or glasses I have a harder time "hearing" what's being said.
Do you have Deaf or signing family members?
I do not...this is completely new to me
Is your home TV always set to show the Closed Captions?
Only on mute
When did you first become aware of the existence of ASL?
Around 10.
