I am learning ASL and would love the practice and intro to the culture.

I am a junior biology major at Western Carolina University.

Do you have Deaf or signing family members?

Not family members...no.

Is your home TV always set to show the Closed Captions?

Not always...but sometimes! I'm trying to learn to lip read!

When did you first become aware of the existence of ASL?

Back in middle school...
