Bits & Bytes: Countdown to Our Annual Photo Exhibit

Our group participates in Atlanta Celebrates Photography each fall, with a photo exhibit. This year the exhibit will be at the First Existentialist Congregation near Candler Park, from Sept. 28 through Nov. 30. Our goal is to display 50 photographs, showing the variety of our members' best work. This meeting is to encourage members to submit photographs, explain the selection process, and discuss the work necessary to be ready for an outstanding exhibit.

Many members have not exhibited before, and this meeting will be a chance to learn about what goes into an exhibit and get answers to your questions.

We will also present some tips on selecting "the best of your best" for submitting for consideration.

There is no charge for this Bits & Bytes session. We want as many folks as possible to participate in this year's show. The "call for submissions" will open shortly after the meeting July 19.

Just wondering........ For a second $25, could we submit a second batch of 3 photos?????

    • Roger E.

Hi Lila, I'll say the limit is 3 submissions per member, to encourage as many members as possible to participate. You'll have to take a lot of care in choosing your three submissions : )

Lila, the church is at 470 Candler Park Drive NE, Atlanta 30307. Remember, this is where the exhibit will be held. Saturday's meeting will be at Oakhurst Baptist Church, 222 Eastlake Drive.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
