Alright, I think I'm just starting to figure this thing out. I was unable to discover how to greet each person individually, but now I see that this Meetup is like Facebook where everyone has their own "Wall" and the groups main page. Please accept my apologies for not being aware of this or greeting each of you as you joined.
I also notice the right pane and I relate that to Facebooks "Ticker" for latest news. Maybe I'll surf YouTube to see if there are any Meetup crash courses.

Hi Pamela, I just bought a kayak this year. I've been on a couple meet up outings and it is a fun time. There are people with all levels of experience. I've learned a lot from just talking and paddling with them. You come to a event and you'll see how friendly everyone is. I've met a lot of nice people in the group.
