Part 2: The Evolution of Men's Roles Past, Present and Future

Note that this is a two part series. This meetup follows the one two weeks earlier on women's roles. Note that there is a maximum of 15 places available. A balance of male and female participants would make this discussion most interesting.

An interesting article. I will read and digest in detail before the meetup, but a couple of comments from what I read so far. This perspective is clearly aimed at pinpointing men's side of things and therefore it needs to be balanced with womens perspectives. My therapeutic experience suggests that both men and women tend to overestimate their work contributions and responsibilities, and fail to acknowledge what they derive from a relationship. The "truth" about relationships is hardly ever easy to pinpoint. It's unfortunate that the the mixed response (27 comments at the end of the article) is mainly superficial bling that adds little of substance to a topic that is vital for our wellbeing and happiness.
