Well we have been mostly photographing subject that have not been to active in movement. The wolf meet up gave a little taste of action photography but I think we can do better!

Devon Horse Show.
The horse show ring is very accessible for nice Equestrian Photography.
The first evening event starts at 7:30. If we get there early we can most likely get ring side seating with our general admission ticket. $11.00 per person.

I have been to this and seen the coaches before, Very COOL.

Being that we will be taking most stadium lit night photography I highly recommend tripods and mono pods. My main lens for the evening will be my 28 to 300 one camera and my 28 to 70 2.8 on my second camera. As not to spook the horses flash is not advised!

The fair grounds offer other photo opportunities other then just horses. There a many little shops to look through, a food court area if you get hungry and a small amusement rides and game area.

I think this will be a great meet up.
And as always I be teaching and helping all the member with their photography and camera.
I am charging $10 each for the teaching service and this fee does not include the admission to the show.
I hope to see many of our members at this event.

    Had a great time! Except for the mud down my shirt as I tried to get that shot I wanted! Still looking over my shots to see which ones I really liked. Nice to see everyone there. See you soon!

      “ The weather was not our friend, but we were undaunted by mud and gray skies. There were beautiful horses and riders. We had front row "seats" although no one was seated. We were all having too much fun taking action shots. ”
    • “ Well with the rain and heavy overcast the lighting was very difficult to work with. With the image I was able to get I plan on using the images in a program like photo painter 4 to turn the images from so - so photo into nice looking paintings. When given lemons make lemon aid! For those the came out despite the weather thanks! Mike ”
