I'm offering a second class due to the number of request.
This 8 weeks of studio photograph will have lessons on what you should have in a studio, setting up lighting, properly metering your lights and working with both commercial table top products and models. Other topic will include equipment selection, proper focal length for you subject, selecting your first set of lights and lighting accessories.
Class conversation will cover, background selection, high key and low key images and how to properly take them.
Michael will also cover photographing on a blue or green screen and replacing the screen with a digital background.
Each week Michael will have a studio photo shoot set up for the attendees to photograph. Michael will provide the subjects or models, lighting, radio remotes for the lights and any special effects equipment need for the shoot.
The use of the Nikon and Canon off camera flash systems will be covered as well.
Attendes should bring the own digital SLR cameras and lenses to each of the classes.
Toward the end of the 8 sessions Michael will have a demonstration on improving your images using photoshop, Lightroom and a few other software products.
The date for the classes are as follows;
March 2, 9, 16, 23,30, 2011 to April 6, 20, 27, 2011. NO CLASS ON APRIL 13
Lessons start at 7:00 to 10:00
Please be advised that on the nights that a model is used as a subject a $10 per student tip is required to receive a model release from the model. Michael will provide blank model releases.
Space is limited to only 10 students.
If there is a need for a second class Michael will add one on an other night.
